Questions about privacy?

Use the contact details and support channels published on taladoo.com if you need help with a privacy request or account issue.

1. Scope of this policy

Taladoo is an online marketplace that helps people browse, post, save, and discuss listings across Thailand. This policy applies to our website, mobile web experience, listing tools, account features, and related services.

By using Taladoo, you agree that we may process personal information as described in this policy. If you do not agree with these practices, you should stop using the service.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

  • Account details such as your name, email address, profile image, and login provider identifiers.
  • Information you choose to publish or store, including listings, listing photos, saved searches, favorites, and message content.
  • Transaction and support information when you contact us, report content, or respond to moderation or safety reviews.
  • Device and usage data such as browser type, approximate location inferred from your activity, IP address, cookies, and diagnostic events.

3. Social sign-in and LINE login

If you sign in with LINE, Google, Facebook, Apple, or another identity provider, we receive the profile information that provider allows us to access, such as your provider user ID, display name, email address, and avatar.

We use that information to create or secure your Taladoo account, prevent duplicate accounts, and make sign-in faster on future visits. Your relationship with the third-party provider is also governed by that provider’s own privacy terms.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to operate and improve Taladoo, including to:

  • Create and manage accounts, authenticate users, and keep sessions secure.
  • Publish listings, support search, show localized marketplace content, and let users contact each other.
  • Detect spam, fraud, abuse, suspicious activity, and violations of our marketplace rules.
  • Respond to support requests, legal obligations, and safety investigations.
  • Analyze service performance and improve product quality, reliability, and moderation workflows.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host the platform, secure accounts, store content, or send communications on our behalf.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to investigate abuse or safety risks, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or similar business transfer.

6. Cookies, local storage, and similar technologies

Taladoo uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support analytics, and make the marketplace faster and more reliable.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some account, sign-in, and saved-state features may stop working correctly if you do.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect Taladoo and its users.

Retention periods can vary depending on the type of data, whether content is public, and whether an account or listing is subject to moderation, legal holds, or ongoing safety review.

8. Your choices and rights

You can update parts of your account profile, manage your listings, and control certain saved content directly inside the product.

Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal information. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

9. Security and children

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials and linked social accounts secure.

Taladoo is not intended for children who are not legally permitted to use an online marketplace in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information improperly, contact us so we can review the situation.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as Taladoo evolves, as our providers change, or as legal requirements change.

When we make material changes, we may update the date on this page and provide additional notice inside the service when appropriate.
